HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR ORIGINAL PAINTING

Thank you for purchasing one of my Originals. To ensure that you + future generations can enjoy my work for years to come, I have provided care instructions below. Please note that all Originals are varnished and thus ready for display.

Don'ts:

Avoid pressing any rigid objects against the painting to prevent indentations; this applies during transfer + storage.

Keep artwork away from heat sources + moist environments to prevent damage.

Avoid exposing the painting to direct UV light, as this can discolor pigments.

No solvents, cleaning products, fresheners, polishes, or even water to clean the surface of the painting.

Avoid dust cloths, harsh brushes + feather dusters.

Do’s:

Use compressed air or a soft sable brush + vacuum to remove dust.

Display the painting in indirect sunlight or under recessed halogen lighting.

Take Note: Yellowing can naturally occur in oil paintings kept in dimly lit areas. If you experience any yellowing, controlled exposure to indoor sunlight can help restore the painting's natural colors (Following the Do’s will avoid this situation completely).
